About Me

My background

I have devoted my entire life to public service.

I am a veteran. I commissioned in 2011 as an Infantry Officer from the United States Military Academy.

I served in Afghanistan and played a pivotal role in the historic undertaking of uninstalling over several months US/NATO/Coalition Force bases with 20 years of equipment and ultimate withdrawal.

I am a college student pursuing nuclear engineering. I am in the US Army Reserves as a Civil Affairs Officer.

I am a Texan and one of 20 million proud and law abiding gun owners.  I was also a first responder for the 2014 Fort Hood Shooting Incident.

I am a son.  I am a descendent of my father who was Puerto Rican, an Army veteran, and a police officer for Kempner before he died.  My mother and stepfather are both Filipino naturalized citizens who have earned their retirement.

I have traveled the world.  I studied abroad in Taiwan as a part of my Chinese Language degree program.  I have served in Germany, South Korea, Qatar, Kuwait, and Afghanistan as a part of my military service. I have seen the world and see what Texas has the potential to achieve.

My top issues

Civil Rights and Nuclear Power.

Civil Rights are non-negotiable. What you do to one Right you do to them all.  It is unfortunate that politics has undone 60 years of social progress.  The backsliding ends today.  Enshrine rights into Federal law and hold legislatures accountable!

Within rights are entitlements such as VA Healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.  I will fight for the fruits of your labor!

Investing in nuclear power:

  • removes our foreign dependence on oil
  • fights climate change
  • brings jobs and manufacturing back to the USA
  • fights inflation
  • enables industries and projects such as recycling

The political theater must end.  Government must 1) protect civil rights and 2) provide essential services.

I am ready TODAY to tackle the real challenges facing Central and West Texas.

My involvement

I put my money where my mouth is.

I am studying nuclear engineering to make it a reality.

I believe in small business, and volunteer my spare time to help entrepreneurs realize their dreams.
